MTI GROUP RESTRUCTURES ITS SERVICE BUSINESS: PART OF MTI-SERVIS TRANSFERRED TO MTI HI-TECH DISTRIBUTION
In 2021, MTI hi-tech Distribution will begin offering repair and maintenance services for technology based on the assets of MTI-SERVIS. Moving forward, MTI-SERVIS will focus on specialized services.
To enhance the quality of service, improve convenience for clients and end consumers, MTI Group has decided to diversify its service business between MTI-SERVIS and MTI hi-tech Distribution. This process includes the transfer of personnel, technologies, equipment, inventory, and accumulated experience. In the future, MTI hi-tech Distribution will focus on servicing the equipment of the brands within its portfolio, while MTI-SERVIS will concentrate on servicing B2C clients through specialized contracts with brands such as Samsung, Motorola, and Sony.
As noted by Boris Belyansky, CEO of MTI hi-tech Distribution, “By combining sales and service support under a unified management structure, our partners and clients will be able to purchase and service their equipment in one entry point – at MTI hi-tech Distribution. This will allow us to implement a full synergy of the ‘sales + service’ directions."
MTI hi-tech Distribution will also update all service processes, introducing a new product reception procedure, evaluating the work of engineers, and improving quality control to receive up-to-date information on repair statuses. Additionally, the company is transitioning to a modern ERP system, Microsoft NAV, for its accounting processes.
The next step for MTI hi-tech Distribution in expanding its service offering will be the development of its B2C service segment. Specifically, MTI hi-tech Distribution will provide service for printing and scanning devices from brands like Epson, Canon, Kyocera, as well as computer components such as motherboards and video cards from MSI, Gigabyte, Sapphire, Inno3D, and monitors and projectors from BenQ, Iiyama, Viewsonic, Eizo, Gigabyte, MSI, as well as uninterruptible power supplies from APC.
For customer convenience, the service departments for these brands will remain at the same address in Kyiv: 9 Vatslava Havel Blvd.
MTI-SERVIS will focus its activities on key authorization contracts, and customers with Samsung, Sony audio and video equipment, as well as gaming devices from Sony, will be able to access services here. Additionally, MTI-SERVIS will focus on smartphone servicing for Motorola users.
The new office for MTI-SERVIS will be located at 26 Biloruska Street, just 7 minutes from the Lukianivska metro station. Meanwhile, mono-brand service points in Kyiv for Samsung on 14 Družby Narodiv Blvd, 21 Stepan Bandery Avenue, and 4 Lesi Ukrainky Blvd will continue to serve clients at their existing locations.
Most of the processes for transferring service functions from MTI-SERVIS points and the network of regional authorized service centers to MTI hi-tech Distribution have already been completed. Thanks to well-established interaction processes between companies within the MTI Group, clients have not experienced any delays in service.
