INTERTOP (part of the MTI Group) has transferred UAH 1,000,000 toward the construction of the Ronald McDonald House. It will be a five-story building with 50 rooms located on the grounds of Ukraine’s largest children’s hospital, Okhmatdyt, in Kyiv.

Every year in Ukraine, thousands of children undergo long-term treatment in hospitals far from home. Living in another city often becomes an overwhelming challenge for families — both emotionally and financially.

The Ronald McDonald House will be a true home away from home. Families with seriously ill children who have come for treatment from remote villages and towns across Ukraine will be able to stay here free of charge. This will allow them to focus on what matters most — recovery — without the burden of significant housing costs.

This program has been implemented worldwide by the Ronald McDonald House Charities Foundation for 50 years, and in Ukraine it will be the first of its kind.
