Leadership in Times of Change and How a Leader’s Mindset Shapes the Future of a Company – Key Takeaways from the Business Breakfast

On October 8, a Business Breakfast for top managers of MTI Group businesses took place, dedicated to the topic “Mindset Leadership – How a Leader’s Attitude and Way of Thinking Shape the Team, Business, and Strategies in Times of Change” with Ruslan Spivak, Ph.D, Global Banking & Strategy Executive, Transformation & Institutional Finance, Board & Advisory Leadership, Director: Institutional Clients, Investment Banking & Strategy at Raiffeisen Bank.

The focus of the meeting was on global trends of recent decades, in particular, military threats, acceleration of development processes, changing client demand, the crisis of tactical and strategic planning, digital transition and increased regulation. The expert outlined a range of potential future scenarios and the corresponding global risks for business, including war, de-escalation, and a change in architecture towards centralization or decentralization. And this must be considered in order to maintain business success.

Special attention was paid to how thinking and reaction to success or failure affect the further development of leaders. In conditions where the result depends on the time of decision-making, it is necessary to find a balance between speed and quality.

The participants had the opportunity to discuss with the speaker the role of Ukraine in global trends and the impact of AI on the effectiveness of business processes. Those present saw a holistic picture of modernity and the likely vectors of paradigm shifts that will allow them to navigate decision-making in the future.
